WILLIAM H. EDGERTON, WINE APPRAISER

William Edgerton has been certified as an Accredited Senior Appraiser by the American Society of Appraisers for over 30 years. He created one of the world’s largest databases of wine auction selling prices, part of which he published as the Wine Price File from 1998 through 2004. He has led several seminars and conducted tastings for the Society of Wine Educators. He has appeared on CBS, PBS, CNBC and BBC Radio discussing wine fraud and wine values, and his article Taking on the Fakes appeared in Britain’s World of Fine Wines.
